IRS Revised Home Buyer Credit 2009-2010 First time buyers receive up to $8000, move up buyers up to $6500

IRS Home Buyer Credit for 2009 Receive up to $8000 with this tax credit

Neighborhood Finance Corporation Receive up to a $10,000 grant when you buy a qualifying Des Moines home through the non-profit Neighborhood Finance Corp.

Iowa Finance Authority receive a closing cost subsidy of up to $2500 through this state run fund.

The Iowa Finance authority also provides: The REOHome Program offers up to $10,000 in down payment/closing cost assistance to qualified Iowans who are purchasing a home that is Real Estate Owned. (Real Estate Owned properties are in the possession of a lender as a result of foreclosure of forfeiture.)
